Philip M. Novak, Partner

Philip M. Novak has worked with Steve Elizer since 2001, first as a law clerk, then concentrating on investigating and managing the litigation of complex surety bond claims througout the United States. He now litigates a variety of matters, including collections and judgment enforcement, home repair fraud, mortgage fraud, debt negotiation, and business disputes including the litigation of non-competition and non-solicitation clauses. Mr. Novak's legal experience also includes personal injury, customized business contracts, commercial lease negotiation, and representation of landlords and tenants in housing court.

Mr. Novak also assists women and minority-owned businesses in obtaining the certifications necessary to do business with municipalities as minority business enterprises. More recently, he has expanded his practice of administrative law, representing Chicagoland businesses charged with the violation of municipal ordinances.

The broad range of legal expertise that Mr. Novak has amassed is only possible when the attorney performs detailed factual investigations, exhaustive studies of the applicable laws, then brings to the table all the logic and knowledge necessary to achieve the client's desired result. As a partner at Elizer Law Group, LLC, Mr. Novak enjoys assisting clients with their varied legal problems, while continuing to hone his negotiation and litigation skills.
